Evaluating TT technology

If you are interested in exploring the benefits which use of time-triggered technology may provide in your organisation, then we will do our best to help.

Let us create your first TT design for you

  • Are you facing problems with the reliability of the embedded systems you produce?
  • Do you find that test cycles are taking longer with every new product?
  • Are you interested in considering ways in which you could alter your design, development and testing procedures in order to reduce the length of develop cycles and reduce costs?

We may be able to help.

Here’s how we usually work:

  • Both parties sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA);
  • You bring us an example of your most challenging / problematic embedded system;
  • If we think we can help then - for an agreed (fixed) fee - we will create a “TT” version of your system and then demonstrate this to you;
  • You are then free to evaluate our design (at your leisure), in order to determine whether use of TT might be of benefit to your organisation in the future.

Naturally, we hope that you will then consider purchase of our RapidiTTy® tools, InfiniTTy™ RTOS or TTE32™ processor cores. However, we think the results will speak for themselves, and you will be under no obligation to make any further purchases from us as the result of such a trial.

For further information, please contact us to arrange an initial discussion.

Request a RapidiTTy® trial

We provide 3-month trial licences for any RapidiTTy® products at minimal cost: please contact us for details. During your trial you will receive full product support.

If you subsequently order full copies of any RapidiTTy® product, your trial fee will be refunded in full.

Please contact us to place your order or to request further details.

We regret that trial copies are only available for business customers (not for personal customers).

Working with Linux or Windows® CE?

A number of our customers who contact us are working with Linux or Windows CE, for platforms such as ARM9, OMAP or x86.

In these cases, we are happy to help customers migrate designs to work with InfiniTTy™. If you undertake such a change, we think you will be surprised by the massive performance improvement that can result from use of a “thin” RTOS on a modern processor platform (and you may find that you can reduce your hardware requirements significantly, resulting in significant cost savings).

Alternatively, we are happy to help customers obtain the benefits of “TT Linux” (retaining many of the advantages of Linux and much of the predictability of a “pure” TT design).

Every case is different. If you are working with Linux or Windows CE and interested in exploring ways in which you may be able to improve reliability or obtain more predictable timing behaviour, please contact us.

Working with “autocode”?

A number of customers who contact us are working with “autocode” created using third-party software for use with an “embedded PC” or similar platform.

In many cases, these customers are finding that the timing behaviour of the systems they have produced is very difficulty to predict, and that - as a result - they are experiencing reliability and / or testing problems with their prototypes.

If you are working with autocode and are interested in exploring ways in which you may be able to improve the reliability of your system or obtain more predictable timing behaviour, please contact us.

Join our Early Bird programme

Since 2007, we have run a very popular “Early Bird” programme which provides early access to new product releases. In return for enhanced (and extended) support packages and cost-effective pricing, we ask for feedback from Early Bird customers on our new product releases (before a full public release is made).

If you are interested in working with us on our Early Bird programme, please contact us for registration details.

We regret that membership of our Early Bird programme is available only for business customers (not for personal customers).

Attend a training course

Full (non-commercial) RapidiTTy® product licences are included in the fees for many of our training courses. Alternatively, if you join the University of Leicester’s part-time MSc programme in Reliable Embedded Systems you will receive a permanent (non-commercial) licence for RapidiTTy® Pro.

At present, the training courses and full MSc programme are offered in both Europe and in Malaysia.
