Bookings are now being taken for our next Preview event will take place in Penang on 21 January 2010.
At this event, you will be able to meet our team, attend a free technical seminar, and learn more about the following training courses:
- 23-27 January 2010: “Programming Reliable Embedded Systems”;
- 23-27 January 2010: “Using FPGAs in reliable embedded systems”.
You will also be able to learn more about:
- A full MSc programme in Reliable Embedded Systems, delivered in Penang in partnership with the University of Leicester, UK.
Either of the two January courses can be used as the first step towards the full MSc programme.
Places at these Preview events are strictly limited (to 10). Bookings are made on a “first come, first served” basis: please contact us as soon as possible to reserve your free place.

Peck Yeng Sharon Cheang
Dr Sharon Cheang holds a BEng (Electronics & Computer Engineering) from Nottingham Trent University, UK and a PhD (Electronics & Electrical Engineering) from Loughborough University, UK.
Having worked previously in business development and commercialisation of IP resources, Sharon is now Business Manager for TTE Systems in Malaysia. Based in Penang, she provides local support for tool and training sales in the region.
Michael J. Pont
Professor Michael J. Pont holds a BSc (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) from the University of Glasgow and a PhD (Computer Science) from the University of Southampton.
Michael is Professor of Embedded Systems and Head of the Embedded Systems Laboratory at the University of Leicester: he is also CEO of TTE Systems Ltd.
Michael is author / co-author of more than 100 technical publications and author of three books (“Patterns for Time-Triggered Embedded Systems”, “Embedded C” and “Software Engineering with C++ and CASE Tools”).
Based in the UK, Michael spends around a month a year in Malaysia. From January 2010, he will be teaching the introductory module on the MSc programme in Reliable Embedded Systems.
