Helping you to meet international safety standards
Many of our products are available in forms which are suitable for use in high-reliability and safety-critical embedded systems which are developed according to international guidelines (including DO-178b, DO-254, ED-80, ED-12b, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC/TR 80002-1, ISO 26262 and IEC 61508).
For example:
- We can provide both our TTE®32 processors and microcontrollers and custom processors with full design and verification documentation (including PHAC documents, Hardware Verification Procedures, and Verification Reports).
- To support your chosen hardware platform, we can provide both off-the-shelf and bespoke software toolsets, supporting a full range of software development and test activities, including precise worst-case execution time (WCET) prediction and measurement.
- We can provide SafeTTy™ mechanisms, to ensure that your customers are always protected when using your systems, even in the event of hardware damage or a malicious attack.
- We can provide design support or complete custom designs, to help you meet your project deadlines.
We offer a very straightforward evaluation process for our products which is free of charge for many of our customers.
Helping you to refine your development processes
We offer a range of consultancy services to support customers who wish to develop safety-related and safety-critical embedded systems.
For example:
- If your organisation is aiming to develop future products according to DO-178b / DO-254 / ED-80 guidelines, we can assess your existing development processes, provide you with a report and - where necessary - assist you with training in appropriate areas.
- These services can be provided on your site, on a worldwide basis, on dates of your choosing.
We can provide an initial assessment and customised proposal for you at low cost and without obligation.

Helping to update the skills of your development team
We work in partnership with the University of Leicester to deliver a popular MSc programme in “Reliable Embedded Systems”. The programme is delivered both in the UK and in Malaysia and is primarily intended to be taken by working engineers who are in full-time employment.
Individual modules on the MSc in Reliable Embedded Systems are also offered as stand-alone (5-day) training courses.
Where required, MSc modules and other training courses can be delivered to your staff, on your company premises, on dates of your choosing (for example, as part of a Graduate Training Programme): please contact us for details.
